Tickets

We operate an online box office only. All tickets bought via our website can be printed or presented on your phone.

If you have lost or not received an e-ticket booked through our website log in to your account and go to the Print At Home section.

Essential companions do not need a ticket. Please see Access for more information.

Seating

Most events at Union Chapel have unreserved seating and are taken on a first come first serve basis.

Please arrive early before event door times if you have preferred seats.

Due to the nature of our venue, please be prepared to queue for entry.

Entry and Queuing

As a responsible venue operator, it’s our policy to require all customers to show their Covid-19 Pass. This means that to gain entry to the show, you and anyone else you’re attending with will need to demonstrate one of the following:

•       An NHS Covid-19 Pass on the NHS app demonstrating full vaccination (full vaccination means you have received both doses, plus 14 days must have passed since the second dose). Find out how to set this up on the NHS app here.

•       A negative NHS Rapid Lateral Flow Test registered online, taken within 24 hours of the show date. Customers that have taken a Lateral Flow Test will need to demonstrate their negative result by showing the email or text confirmation sent to them by the NHS, once the test result has been registered online here.

Please have these set up ready in advance of arriving so that we can welcome you in to the venue quickly.

If you will be showing proof of a negative NHS Rapid Lateral Flow Test, you must register the result online before arriving at the venue. To do this, follow the steps on the Gov website here. If you haven’t done this before you arrive, you will be asked to leave the queue and return once you have received an email from the NHS confirming the result has been registered.

If you, or anyone in your party, is unable to show one of the above entry requirements, that person will be asked to leave the queue and only return once they have taken and registered a negative NHS Rapid Lateral Flow Test.

We can’t supply customers with NHS Rapid Lateral Flow Tests at the venue. To find a list of pharmacies near you where you can pick up free tests, click here.

This is our venue policy, and is in place to protect our staff and allow us to keep our venue open throughout the autumn/winter season. By showing your Covid-19 Pass, you’re doing your bit to keep live music operating.

If you are unable to stand for long periods of time, please take a look at our Access page or get in touch via email to [email protected]

As seating is unreserved, we have one queue for all tickets. Queue times can vary greatly and we aim to admit everyone within an hour after doors open.

Anti-Touting Measures

For some events, anti-touting measures will be in place. In these cases, the named ticket holder must be present with photo ID with all other ticket holders at the time of entry.

Forms of accepted ID are: valid passports, driving licences, Citizencards and Photocards.

We will have information on the event listing where these measures are in place.

Latecomers and Re-entry

For most events, latecomers are admitted and audiences are welcome to come and go once receiving a stamp.

Occasionally, we are requested to operate a no latecomer or readmission policy for particular events (for example, classical performances and short events).

Please feel free to check in with a member of staff when you arrive or contact us.

Age Restriction

Age restrictions for entry vary for each event depending on its content. Please check the event listing for details.

As a venue, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Children aged three and over are very welcome unless otherwise stated and will require a ticket.

For babes in arms, children under the age of three who will not be seated do not require a ticket. Some events may be loud which can cause hearing damage.

Photography & Filming

Our photography policy varies according to the event. Artists may request that there is no photography or filming and in this case we ask the audience to respect this.

As a venue, photography on mobile phones and compact cameras is permitted, without flash and for personal use.

Larger cameras (SLRs with detachable lenses, for example) may only be used by those with photo/filming passes. These passes are issued by promoters prior to the event, not by Union Chapel.

We ask our audiences to respect others around them, as photos and filming can be distracting for those around you.

Dogs/Animals Policy

We allow service animals only in the Chapel.
