Ever heard of the ‘Christian martyr complex’? It’s when Western Christians see themselves as more persecuted than actually persecuted peoples.

But a much wider multitude of people suffer under dictatorships, and are not Christians themselves the persecutor when shutting the door on our LGBTQ+ brothers and sisters? There are many stories of brave people standing up to injustice at great personal risk.  It is a privilege to hear their testimonies and be inspired to take our stand.
