This coming September sees the release by the Irish singer songwriter Gemma Hayes of her new Album “BLIND FAITH” – her sixth studio album of a 20-year career. In recent months she’s released 3 tracks from the Album, “High & Low”, “Feed The Flames” and “Hardwired “

Over the last year, Gemma has been busy touring, bringing her stirring live show to full houses across Ireland. In between her own band shows she’s been stepping out to wow audiences with some solo slots as well as playing a series of acoustic trio gigs with fellow Irish luminaries Lisa Hannigan and Paul Noonan.

In 2023 she played some of the new material to an enthusiastic reaction at a handful of small gigs in the UK - selling out London’s Omeara along the way.

Gemma’s debut album Night On My Side was released in 2002, for which she won Best Female Artist at the Hot Press Awards and a Mercury Prize nomination. It is considered one of the classic all-time top 20 Irish Albums by Hot Press Magazine Since then, she has released another four critically acclaimed studio albums and a limited-edition live album. The Irish Business Post recently praised Gemma as “a songwriter whose work pivots between serious life experiences and an indie folk/rock style influenced as much by Nick Drake as My Bloody Valentine.” The Business Post
