The place for LGBTQ+ people with the Beloved Community:
An evening of talk, meditation and music
Wednesday 16th March
Doors 6.30 Programme 7.00
This evening will be a celebration of LGBTQ+ identity and belonging within the ‘Beloved Community’. Rather than being an invitation to join the community, the evening will profess a radical perspective. Our communities are integral rather than marginal to the promise of a new age envisaged in the Christian Gospel.
The Beloved Community is a concept much loved by Dr Martin Luther King Jnr. He saw it is a coming together of those who struggle for justice and yet have a deep sense of being loved of God. Despite current challenges, we can live in the hope and promise of a transformation into a time of equality and justice.
Join us to share ideas, enjoy each other’s company, and lift our spirits in challenging times.
