A great sound travels around the world

LONGTONESFORPEACE is an initiative of trumpeter Markus Stockhausen, who has presented it throughout Germany. Following his inspiration, we bring it to London on Remembrance Sunday, co-led by saxophonist Martin Speake and singer Scott Stroman. There will be over 30 improvising instrumentalists and singers on stage including Speake, Stroman, Brigitte Beraha, Cleveland Watkiss, Elaine Delmar, Alyson Cawley, Martin Gladdish, Richard Henry, Tori Freestone, Hannah Marshall, Calum Gourlay and many others, creating beautiful sounds in a beautiful space.

The audience is invited to share in the experience, which will last for about an hour.

Markus believes that "this sound travels around the world, sending vibrations of peace and freedom. Outer peace can only be the result of inner peace. Peace is possible. May our music inspire others to live peacefully together."
