An exclusive talk with the Misfits and The Umbrella Academy actor exploring his journey to inner peace in his new memoir ‘Playing Dead’.
A search for inner calm in a world that feels increasingly unstable is a quest many of us strive for, and a quest which actor Robert Sheehan documents with beauty in his memoir ‘Playing Dead’.
Join us for a talk with the actor exploring his latest book in which he shares intimate and playful reflections on his search for purpose, looking back at the adventures – and misadventures – of his life so far, and sharing the profoundly transformative lessons he has learnt along the way. Through stories, memories and his musings on fame, we will learn how spirituality for Robert has become an anchor in the constant moving tide.
Learn how to welcome a practice of meditation into your own life, with tools for soothing your nervous system and focusing a fretful mind. In a world where our attention is constantly up for grabs, Playing Dead shows how we can give our souls the deep rest we crave.
There will be an audience Q&A and a guided meditation to finish the evening.
