An evening of music and discussion
On Trans Day of Remembrance we remember and honour all the transgender and gender-diverse people lost to violence over the last year. It is a time amplify trans voices, raise awareness of anti-trans violence, and act for trans rights. Join us for a reflective evening thinking about our response to anti-trans violence. We’ll be thinking about the role of the Church, acknowledging the pain that has been caused when the church has rejected our siblings. And we’ll be exploring how the church can stand for the rights of all people, as we commit ourselves to celebrating the diverse manifestations of the image of God in all human beings.
We’ll be joined by Rev Alex Clare-Young, pioneer minister, activist, and author of ‘Transgender, Christian, Human’. They will be discussing ways that the Church can welcome and celebrate people of all genders.
