Two music industry powerhouses perform a dedicated evening of soul at an award-winning venue in London. Sarah Brown will respectfully recreate Mahalia Jackson’s influential repertoire alongside Errol Linton’s original works at the Union Chapel on the 6th of November.

Sarah Brown will perform her debut solo album at the Union Chapel. The record is a significant tribute to gospel’s first superstar, Mahalia Jackson. Five decades since Mahalia’s passing and Brown has delivered a profoundly personal album that transports her back to joyful days singing with the congregation. On the 6th of November at Union Chapel, Brown will bring the energy of her church to performances of On My Way and Walk Over God’s Heaven, Didn’t It Rain as well as poignant classics like Amazing Grace. Brown’s spectacular vocal ability has led to appearances on records with megastars like Pink Floyd, Quincy Jones, George Michael, Stevie Wonder and Simply Red.

Errol Linton will join Brown for an evening of powerful hope and faith. Errol is an award-winning singer and harmonica player who has spent over 30 years on the London underground blues scene. Errol is a passionate performer that effortlessly fuses eclectic blues in his work. The Radio 2 Blues Show regular is a true musical innovator that’s caught the attention of a global audience after years as a London legend.
