Caring for Creation - Services in September

September is the Season of Creation in churches when we listen to God through the world around us with its complexity and wonder through our Sunday Services.

Sunday Services are at 11.00am.

 

September 4th 11.00am - Listening to creation – Forests

Music, Meditation and Reflections on the part forests play in our survival, their gift to humanity and our care for them.

Bible Reading:   Luke 14.25-33     Discipleship and possessions

September 11th 11.00am- Listening to creation – Mountains

Music, Meditation and Reflections on the beauty of creation and our need for a wider view of our future.

Bible Reading:   Jeremiah 4.11-22,22-28    A desolate land

September 18th 11.00am – Listening to creation – Oceans and Rivers

Music, Meditation and Reflections on water in an age of increasing drought and pollution.  The service will include a presentation of our gardening project.

Bible Reading:   Jeremiah 8.18-9.1             Summer is ended and we are not saved
