HISTORY DETECTIVE (Archive Research Volunteer)

Love revealing hidden gems of historic moments? Help us peel away the layers of Nonconformist Christianity, incredible live music highlights, or our support of local community and children - all within our 200+ year archive. Plus the chance to research the archives of our neighbours such as the Islington History Centre, LGBTQ+ Archive, and more.

CREATIVE VOLUNTEERS

If you’re a filmmaker, photographer, sound recorder, illustrator, painter, artist, or have other arts and crafts skills, we’d love to invite you to help capture our free heritage building workshops in a collaboration that brings arts, heritage, practical skills, sustainability, and community together.

"It was so fascinating to observe the workshop and talk nonstop about conservation, paint techniques and museums. Recreating the wood grain through oil paint was definitely a highlight! I hope to experience more drawing residencies, workshops and conservation in the near future." - Florrie Ann, previous workshop illustrator

"Thank you so much for everything for the Workshop. It was so nice to see each person get ahead so quickly with what we felt was needed. Builders, Filming, Photographing Drawing, Interviewing etc." - previous workshop participant
