A supportive community

"If he has wronged you in any way, or owes you anything, charge that to my account." - Philemon 18

What is a church but its community? Its people. Otherwise it is just a man preaching the good news for nobody to hear.

Just as to Christ all is charged, also in the early church we see this reflected in Paul's support of Onesimus. A beloved community, a saved community, a community aware of its exileship in the deepest sense knows what it is, and who their brother, sister, mother, father, daughter, son, is also.
