Social Justice and Community

“We are not to simply bandage the wounds of victims beneath the wheels of injustice, we are to drive a spoke into the wheel itself.”

Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Christianity has a long and storied history of speaking truth to power, social engagement, care for the environment and of giving communities a voice. This rich heritage needs to be rescued from modern distortions and shallow interpretations. Our church draws from the deep well of faith to inform our practice and bring people together to enact lasting change in challenging times.

In addition to our Sunday Service, our church has a programme of activities that promote social justice from a faith perspective and offers space for learning, conversation and community-building.
