Black Lives Matter
Church and colonialism
Union Chapel is totally commited to the cause of racial justice. Our contribution lies in raising awareness of the everyday discrimination and the structural injustices embedded in our society and culture. The Church has historically played a major part in colonialism and has a particular responsibility to address these issues.
Here are some resources which the church has developed to heighten our understanding, confront our consciences and put us on a path to racial justice.
