Asylum Seekers & Refugees Welcomed on an Arsenal Stadium Tour

2 July 2025

Football fans from across the globe united as asylum seekers and refugees that are supported by The Margins Project's Advice Service and Union Chapel Church Community Outreach Team joined a couple of our volunteers in a behind-the-scenes tour at our neighbours' Emirates Stadium!

Last week, 25 June 2025, our touring party enjoyed a meal at The Margins Project drop-in before heading on to Emirates Stadium for a guided tour of the famous, iconic Arsenal grounds as well as backstage including the press space, dressing room, and seeing some of their memorabilia from throughout the ages.

We would like to extend a special thanks to Luke Howard and everyone at the Arsenal in the Community Team for your continuing support of The Union Chapel. And a huge thanks to Charlie, who volunteers at the Margins drop-in twice a week, and captured these joyous photos of the day.
