Matilda Mann

Matilda Mann is a born-and-raised Londoner who has enjoyed an incredibly bright start to her still-young career in music. On the airwaves, Matilda has enjoyed tastemaker support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 where recent single ‘Borderline Insane’ was premiered as Hottest Record In The World ahead. Offline on stage, she’s supported The Staves and other rising UK talents Holly Humberstone, Arlo Parks and Beabadoobee. 2023 continues to be an important year for Matilda Mann who has plenty of music on the way that’ll further highlight her enchanting, poetic songwriting. Although she is an important new British artist to look out for in 2023, her talent feels more timeless.

Eloise

Branching out beyond the soft, jazz-tinged soul of her early work, Drunk On A Flight saw the 23-year-old singer-songwriter broadening her horizons and applying her pop nous to a much wider palette of sounds. It is a coming of age album about embracing the moment; a heartbreak record that empowers listeners toluxuriate in their feelings–however messy or complicated they may be. As the Billie Eilish and Burt Bacharach-approved star puts it today, “This is the sound of me putting my flag in the ground as an artist.”

Hohnen Ford

Born and raised in North London, Hohnen Ford grew up immersed in London’s vibrant Jazz scene, becoming fixated on instrumental jazz music of the 20th Century and later studying Jazz at the Royal Academy of Music. Whilst at the Royal Academy, Hohnen Ford wrote and performed extensively in various ensembles around the UK, whilst privately developing her own sound, inspired by the songwriting of Joni Mitchell, Bjork, David Longstreth, Stevie Wonder, Big Thief, Gillian Welch, and the composers of the Great American Songbook. Taking confidence from these performances she set about creating her first release, a combination of self-written songs and collaborations with the likes of Matt Maltese, creating a collection of intimate songs recorded at home, on the very same piano.

Lydia Luce

On her new album Florida Girl, Lydia Luce offers up a body of work graced with all the transformative beauty of watercolor, at turns delicate, dream like, and instantly potent in its emotional realism. The second full-length from the Fort Lauderdale-born singer/songwriter, Florida Girl matches its luminous form of indie-folk with an in-depth examination of Luce’s inner life, exploring everything from mortality to body image to the ineffable intricacy of human connection. As she bares her souland unburdens her heart, Luce slowly embraces her own infinite complexity—ultimately arriving at the self-possessed state of mind that inspired the album’s title.
